Researcher Identity I: Researcher Profiles
Register Now
How do you want to represent yourself and your work online? The UCSB Library offers this workshop to help graduate students, faculty, and researchers to understand the benefits and practical considerations of managing professional identities online. This workshop will primarily cover researcher profiles, namely ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID). ORCID is a unique, persistent digital identifier that you own and control, and that distinguishes you from every other researcher. We’ll also discuss research impact, and curating professional profiles online.
This is part one in a series about cultivating your identity as a researcher. Part II, in Winter, will guide researchers through the process of developing a personal portfolio site.
This event may be photographed or recorded.
